Bird, Plant, and Animal Lists for the Amazon
Flora and Fauna of Central Amazonia

Our site contains three different lists of Amazon flora and fauna. Each is sorted differently for different uses. Why keep a list of creatures? Because it is very good way to get an appreciation of the many creatures that we see on our Amazon cruise and to begin to understand the great diversity of wildlife found in the Amazon. By marking off what was observed, you have a permanent record that will help you remember.

It is very helpful to have a good list with you when you travel into the rainforest. List help you You would be surprised how some of the most unforgettable sights are easily forgotten! Please copy the lists if you wish, but if you reproduce them in any publication or make more than a single copy, please give attribution to the author listed for each list.
